Pareja

A dining chair inspired by tango dance, the fusion

of "strength+beauty"

We describe our dining experience as a social interaction, while eating is an action that can be done alone dining is the moment where you share a meal with MORE THAN ONE. This design takes this concept, and pairs up two pieces that interlock, providing visual and physical comfort.

As a metaphor, the perfect dance can’t be executed alone, we need a partner to make it strong. Our chair is inspired by a tango dance, the fusion of "Strength + Beauty", which makes "Pareja" a unique chair.

Through an extensive process of exploration, we decided to work with wood veneer, that allowed us to achieve curves that were comfortable for the human body.
