My name is Meltem Parlak and I'm passionate about improving the lives of others through design. I'm constantly learning new things every day and love meeting people who are motivated and unafraid of sharing their ideas with the world. 

I am a multidisciplinary designer with over eight years of experience. I have been responsible for leading product design projects from ideation all the way to development. 

Currently, I am a Senior Product Designer at Staples. I facilitate design workshops with user and cross-functional teams to identify innovation pathways, develop concepts, and gain senior leadership approval for short and long-term projects. 

Before joining Staples, I managed a year long research project funded by The SCAN Foundation. I traveled across America to facilitate co-design sessions with older adults to learn what they want, need, and desire in their experiences to live engaged, joyful, and independent lives. Our work resulted in a detailed research and insights report with opportunity areas identified and a co-design kit for anyone who wants to lead a session and co-design with older Americans

Outside of design, I spend most of my time with my pup Alfie and enjoy exploring the green outdoors.
