
Redesigning Farinolio’s Website for the Authentic Italian Experience
OVERVIEW
Farinolio is a Tuscan bakery-cafe in Westfield, New Jersey, focused on the simple pleasure of enjoying well-crafted food. Farinolio’s website didn’t fully convey the essence of the brand’s authentic Italian roots or its simple yet powerful origin story. While the bakery-cafe had a clear mission and product offering, visitors struggled to connect with the brand’s core story and offerings.
The challenge was to redesign the website to showcase Farinolio’s Italian heritage and make the browsing experience more intuitive, while highlighting its signature schiacciata, food, events, and classes.

The website was redesigned to clarify and strengthen Farinolio’s brand story, focusing on its roots in Tuscany and the family’s passion for sharing the “Simple Taste of Italy.” The redesign incorporated rich imagery and refined messaging that celebrated the bakery’s core offerings, from their signature schiacciata to their special events and culinary classes.
By simplifying navigation and streamlining content, the new design makes it easier for visitors to understand the brand’s story and offerings. The refreshed website serves as a clearer, more engaging platform for potential customers to explore the authentic flavors and experience Farinolio has to offer.
